Jasmine Wikstrom MA in Counseling

Jasmine has a Master of Arts degree in Psychological Counselling. After completing her internship with Mental Fitness she joined the team in October 2009.Her primary focus is adolescents and young adults. Jasmine's primary therapeutic approach is CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy), but, depending on

the client’s needs, she may use other approaches such as Gestalt or Narrative therapy. Adolescents and young adults experience transitions and changes which may lead to high levels of stress and a feeling of self-doubt. Jasmine’s  encouragement and collaborative way of working is a key component in supporting them negotiate these stages successfully.

Jasmine is a talented, young counselor who is starting out in her career in the helping professions. She is professional, highly trained and qualified to offer counseling across a broad spectrum of inter-personal areas. I recommend her work with confidence.” Dr Ros Thomas October 19, 2009
